Grand hardwood eaves frame the façade of this baroque mountain palace, complete with elegant masonry arches. Stone provides character indoors, where the decoration combines traditional furnishings and antiques with contemporary, comfortable accents. Charles V the Emperor slept here, and his spirit seems to still wander through the rooms, lounges and the spectacular entrance driveway. Located in the village of Treceño, an ideal starting point to discover western Cantabria.
